Green Stop has recently registered its fully-owned US subsidiary Green Stop Solar and Charging Inc. By launching the US website the company is eager to start developing projects in the US and is particularly searching for landowners who are interested in leasing their land Green Stop and in turn receive stable long-term income through the production and distribution of renewable energy.
Green Stop believes that there is a high demand for fast charging for both cars and heavy-duty vehicles in the United States. Particularly along the vast highways charging opportunities are scarce and are urgently needed.
Recent White House bills, specifically, the Infrastructure Law and the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) aim at combatting climate change and thus invest heavily in the electrification of the transportation sector. By 2030, the US government strives to have a national network of 500,000 electrical vehicle charging stations along America’s highways. Today there are a total of 130,000 charging stations, therefore, there is plenty of market potential.
“Combining solar power with EV charging stations is just a logical step to ensure a self-sustaining business model that generates stable income for our partners and has a positive impact on our planet.”, argues Werneskog.
